A WEEKEND OF HAPPY HUNTING FOR BOTH METRO AND COUNTRY SHARK PACKS

The East Fremantle Football Club’s Country and Metropolitan Colts and 16’s came together on the weekend for the first of many pre-season hit outs, camping out in the Sharks Social rooms.

27 players from the Midwest participated in a development weekend.  Whilst in excess of 80 Metropolitan boys took to Shark Park.

It was evident from the outset that the fitness levels of both the Metro and Midwest boys was of a high standard with all involved playing the games at a high intensity.

The weekend was again catered for by the East Fremantle Past Players & Officials Association.

Midwest Academy Coach, Craig Walker was pleased with the boy’s fitness and the identification of a number of players who demonstrated on the weekend that they had what it takes to compete at the next level.

Colts Coach, Phil Cronan state that the weekend was about finding out if the programmes we have implemented are on track and working in the areas of;

1)       Fitness

2)       Strength & Conditioning

3)       Skills

4)       Game day styles and structures

 

Phil was pleased to report that he was delighted with all of the above key focus areas and declared the weekend a brilliant success.

The weekend was used to bond the Midwest & Local Perth boys, and introduce some of the younger Midwest players to The East Fremantle Football Club and was a perfect opportunity for the coaching staff to bond and get to know each other as well.  The time together gave a chance to discuss and talk about what direction is needed so the boys have best possible pathway to enhance their careers.
