Congratulations to Cam Eardley, Elliot Yeo, Matthew Jupp and Cameron Symonds who have been selected in the State 18’s Squad with round 1 kicking off in Darwin this Sunday we wish the boys well!
State 18s departing for Darwin
WESTERN Australia commences its 2011 NAB AFL Under 18 Championship campaign this Sunday, May 29, against the Northern Territory at TIO Stadium in Darwin.
Players selected to represent WA in the opening game will fly out at 8:30am on Saturday, play Sunday at 6:35pm and depart Darwin on Monday at 2:30pm.
Subsequent championship matches will be played throughout Australia over a seven-week period, with the final Division One games to be played on Wednesday, July 6, at Etihad Stadium and broadcast live on Fox Sports.
Players will be available for interview opportunities today at Patersons Stadium from 4.30pm-5pm before a training session and jumper presentation.
