The Paddle Pop Lion and the Rocket Man coming to Shark Park

On Friday August 24th reigning Premiership Captain Cameron Ling and Collingwood Football Club Coaching Strategist Rodney (Rocket) Eade will be at Shark Park for a Sportsman Night.
Cameron Ling, the unofficial Mayor of Geelong, was the 2011 Geelong Premiership Captain in what ended up being his final AFL game. Lingy played in the 2007,2009 and 2011 Premierships, earned All Australian honours in 2007 and Geelong's Best and Fairest in 2004 during his 246 game career.
He will be joined by Rodney Eade who played 259 AFL games with Hawthorn and the Brisbane Bears including four premierships in 1976, 1978, 1983 and 1986 with the Hawks. Rocket went on to Coach the Sydney Swans (1996 Grand Finalist) and Western Bulldogs (2008,2009 and 2010 Preliminary Finalists) and is currently the Football and Coaching Strategist at Collingwood as well as being mooted as a candidate for the Port Power Senior Coaching position.
This is your chance to meet and listen to two of the most respected football personalities, who both have reached the top and experienced premiership glory. Find out what it was like for Lingy to hold that Cup aloft last year, ask Rocket how he sees the Pies v West Coast match the next day and whether he will be the Coach of the Power in 2013.

On Tuesday May 21st the Sharks take on 2012 SANFL Premiers Norwood in round 1 of the Foxtel Cup. The match will be played in Adelaide so those left in Perth will be heading down to The Left Bank to watch the match. Join us there to support the Sharks. The match starts at 6:05pm.
EFFC members will get 2 for 1 meals by showing their membership card on the night and all can take advantage of the $10 Mussel special available every Tuesday.
