VALE FRED LEWIS

The East Fremantle Football Club was saddened to hear of the passing of Life Member and Club great, Fred Lewis on the weekend.

 Fred made his debut with the Club in 1964 aged 17 and his State debut the following year.  Much of his career was spent at Centre Half Forward

 He played 155 games, including the 1965 Premiership and won the Lynn Medal and East Fremantle Leading Goalkicker in 1967, was Vice Captain in 1970 and Captain in 1971 and was awarded Life Membership in 2005. Fred was inducted into the Inaugural Hall of Fame held on June 2, 2012.

 Fred’s Memorial Service will be held at Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club, Hobbs Place, Peppermint Grove on Monday, July 2nd at  3:00pm.

 We extend our heartfelt sympathy to Roz, Melissa, Gemma and families on their sad loss.  RIP.

East Fremantle in the Foxtel Cup

On Tuesday May 21st the Sharks take on 2012 SANFL Premiers Norwood in round 1 of the Foxtel Cup. The match will be played in Adelaide so those left in Perth will be heading down to The Left Bank to watch the match. Join us there to support the Sharks. The match starts at 6:05pm.

EFFC members will get 2 for 1 meals by showing their membership card on the night and all can take advantage of the $10 Mussel special available every Tuesday.
