Funeral notice: Johanna McManus

The Club lost its oldest member last week, with Johanna McManus sadly passing away at the age of 101. 

Johanna was a long time Sharks member and her involvement started in the 1950s when her husband Jack joined the Club. Jack became a Life Member of the Sharks and he and Johanna were here every Friday night for the members raffle. Johanna has strong family ties to the Sharks; her son John is a former player and President, nephews Con Regan, Michael Regan, Harry Neesham and Gerard Neesham all played for East Fremantle, and grandson Shaun McManus played for East Fremantle and Fremantle Dockers.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Foss St, Palmyra commencing at 11:30am on WEDNESDAY (22.06.2016). The Cortege will leave the Church at the conclusion of Mass and arrive at the main entrance of FREMANTLE Cemetery, Carrington Street, Palmyra at 1:15pm for a Burial Service. 
Vigil Prayers and Rosary will be recited in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church Palmyra at 7:00pm on TUESDAY (21.06.2016).
