BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE - EAST FREMANTLE FOOTBALL CLUB

The East Fremantle Football Club (The Sharks) is the West Australian Football League's most successful club, winning 29 premierships in its 118 year history. Nationally heralded for its Talent Academy Pathway and its strong values and culture, the club is seeking a highly motivated and aspirational individual to engage with current sponsors & stakeholders and develop new business contacts with the community.

We want someone with the ability to engage with our community.  Our Business Development Executive will be able to identify opportunities to grow and protect the business of the Club and demonstrate their record of achieving results.

Key responsibilities
• Deliver annual revenue growth targets by maximising returns from all revenue-stream activities and seeking out new opportunities.
• Maintain Customer relationship management system to track all leads and opportunities
• Maintain strong relationships with sponsors, through regular contact and communication of sponsors opportunities
• Manage and execute the Club’s member and supporter communications, including managing integrated campaigns both print and online
• Oversee major Club functions and events including Home games, President Functions, Fairest and Best Awards night, Gala Auction and Season Launch.       
• Maintain an updated marketing plan for the Club and for specific major events/promotions
• Manage the Club’s website including design, content and structure.

Key Criteria
The successful applicant must demonstrate:
• Ability to establish and maintain a strong rapport with various sponsors and stakeholders
• Possession of a tertiary qualification in marketing or a related area
• High level of competence in the preparation of written material for publication
• Excellent IT skills, including: Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel,
• An understanding of Australian Rules Football Industry
• Sound understanding of media publications processes
• Experience managing social media pages and promotions
• Experience managing events
• Ability to work with volunteers and understand their needs
• Excellent Time Management skills
• Well developed skills in Administration and organisation
• Ability to work as part of a team, with or without supervision
• Ability to work weekends as required

Desirable
• Experience with a web content management system (CMS) for website maintenance
• Experience in  Adobe InDesign and Photoshop Knowledge
• Experience in email management systems (preferably Mailchimp)
• Experience working with a Board of Directors
• Experience working in a Club environment
