2017 Fixture Release
The 2017 WAFL fixtures have been released and it’s shaping up to be a fantastic year of football.
Our season kicks off against Claremont, who, despite their final ladder position finished strong, and will prove to be a tough challenge for East Fremantle.
The Sharks then face reigning premiers Peel Thunder at Bendigo Bank Stadium which will be important test for our boys.
The ANZAC Derby will be fought in Round 6 at Fremantle Community Bank Oval and will be our first broadcast game on 7mate.
Men’s Health Round against Subiaco will also be televised on 7mate at the earlier time of 1.40pm.
We host cross town rivals, South Fremantle for the WA Day Round on Monday the 5th of June. This is traditionally one for the best games of the season with a great turn out from supporters, so be sure to mark it in your calendar.
Our home broadcast game comes in Round 13 against Perth.
The Sharks then face a tough run home, playing four out of five matches against last season’s top teams.
