Sharks Senior Camp
The Sharks preseason culminated last weekend with our two-day senior camp.
After three months of rigorous training, the camp was an opportunity for our boys to come together ahead of a big WAFL season.
Coach Rob Wiley said the playing group got a solid training session whilst enjoying the camp environment.
“It gave our new guys a really good opportunity to mix with the existing players and get an understanding of how we want to play in a tight knit group this year,” Wiley said.
“The boys had to complete a few different activities, which were designed around competition.”
Whilst on camp, the boys had the chance to meet the Sharks second oldest known living player- Doug Bamess who played 30 league games between 1950-1951.
Doug, who now resides in Pemberton, was presented with a Sharks Membership and signed EFFC jumper by President Mark Stewart and Vice President John Ipsen.
The squad has now commenced in-season training ahead of next week’s preseason match against East Perth at East Fremantle Oval. See below for our Preseason fixtures.
A huge thank you to John Ipsen and Darryn Fry, who did an outstanding job setting up the two-day camp.
