Mick Jez recognised for outstanding contribution
During half time of Monday’s Derby, The Past Players presented Mick Jez with a token of appreciation following his outstanding contribution to the East Fremantle Football Club.
After 15 years as President of the Past Players and Officials, Mick stepped down from the role at the end of 2018.
Throughout this time, his dedication to the club was nothing but first class, working during all hours of the day as well as weekends.
As President, Mick raised thousands of dollars, sat on numerous committees, facilitated venue upgrades and erected sponsor signs to name just a few of his responsibilities.
Mick has been more than a player and president, his involvement in the club will leave a legacy to be admired.
The East Fremantle Football Club would like to sincerely thank Mick for his service and contribution over the past 15 years, wishing both he and his wife Janet all the best for the future.
