Christmas in July: Saturday July 20th
East Fremantle calling on donations this weekend in support of St Vincent de Paul
The East Fremantle Football Club is calling on patrons this weekend to bring donations of food (packaged long life foods), clothing, toys, sporting equipment and bedding to be donated to St Vincent de Paul as a Christmas in July promotion that supports their Winter Appeal.
Donations can be left at the Merchandise Store in appropriately marked boxes.
You can also make cash donations at the Merchandise Store or drop your loose change in the donation buckets which will be on display.
East Fremantle plays Subiaco this Saturday July 20th at 2:05pm at East Fremantle Oval.
The St Vincent de Paul Society provides a helping hand to many West Australians through food assistance, material aid, budget advice, shelter, advocacy, friendship and support.
In the spirit of its founder, Frederic Ozanam the Society’s core work continues to be Home Visitation - whereby members and volunteers visit people in need in their home, offering them hope and comfort through emergency relief assistance.
Following the League Game on Saturday there will be a Corporate Classic Match between Best Loans and Getley Paulsen with the sides to be coached by former East Fremantle Premiership Coaches Ron Alexander and Ken Judge and featuring players such as; Steve Malaxos, Matthew ‘Spider’ Burton, Peter Quill, Les Fong, Neil Lester-Smith, Clinton Browning, Clayton Anderson, Luke Weller, Darren Gaspar and Damien Gaspar.
