|Playing Career||1941, 1946|
In his playing days Charlie was a high marking and accurate Full Forward. As with many players the war years split his career. Charlie played his last game in the 1946 Grand Final.
He may not have played a great number of games for the Club he loved but his off field activities after his playing days certainly made up for any lack in his games tally. His devotion to the Club is shown in his long commitment to the important position of Treasurer and his diligent keeping of the Club’s game records. Even when he retired from the Treasurer’s role he maintained his interest in these records and continued to enter game tallies week by week. Without his work we would not have the complete Club records we have today.
