Graham MELROSE
Graham came to us through our junior competition and made his debut in 1967. On the field Graham seemed to have only one purpose - the necessity to beat all opposition.
He was a highly skilled and very competitive Rover with immaculate disposal and a superb kick. Ever alert around the pack and in the forward area he regularly topped the goal scoring for East Fremantle. 1974 was a stellar year for Graham as he took out almost all the awards available including the Sandover Medal and East Fremantle’s Lynn Medal, captained the State side and led East Fremantle to their 1974 Premiership.
