Harry HARRY SHARPE
Harry was selected as a member of the first W.A. side to play Victoria in 1904, in only his second season.
Harry Sharpe was a very talented player who was equally at home on the wing or at half forward. He was an accurate kick with either foot and his ability to control the ball while evading attackers led to many of his goals being scored seemingly with ease. His ball control was perfect, he turned well and forwards further afield knew what to expect when Sharpe had possession. When playing as a forward, he was equally efficient and won dozens of matches when placed in attack.
