Len BROWN
Len was a fine Wingman who consistently played excellent football. He played the wing position to perfection and even as a first year player was able to run at speed and maintain control of the bouncing ball.
He was occasionally used at full forward or in a forward pocket. Wherever he played he was regularly listed among the best and his on field interaction with his team mates was a feature of his play. It was his services to the Club off the field that made him an outstanding football personality over three decades. He took over the role as Club Secretary in 1933 and gave the Club wonderful service in this role and as Delegate to the League through the difficult war years until his death in 1946.
