Sharks to Extend Monaghan Beyond 2021
Sharks to Extend Monaghan Beyond 2021
At its June meeting this week, the East Fremantle Football Club board was unanimous in that Bill Monaghan is the right person to be the Head Coach of the Sharks beyond season 2021.
The board agreed that under Bill’s leadership there has been significant improvement, not only with our football, but with key cultural values of our club in respect and integrity.
The board is confident that Bill is building a good playing list that will continue to improve as we get more senior games into the younger players.
It is the boards intention to now work with Bill on the details of his new contract which will include a review of our football program.
With Talent now back in the control of the WAFL clubs, it is critical that senior coach is involved in the continued development at all levels of football within our district.
Bill, Football Manager Brad Dodd and Talent Manager Brenton Boddington will be part of the review of all aspects of football from junior and community club engagement to development programs and the Mid-West Academies.
