Round 11 | Match Preview
WAFL action returns for the East Fremantle Sharks this Saturday as they take on the Perth Demons at Mineral Resources Park.
Following the bye last week, the Sharks will be looking to return to the winner list against the impressive Perth Demons and move into sixth spot on the ladder.
The Sharks welcome the return of star midfielder Luke English, who missed last match due to concussion while Brynn Teakle will play his third game of league football in the ruck, with Luke Strnadica playing forward to help cover the loss of injured pair Dillon O’Reilly and Hugh Dixon.
East Fremantle young gun Cody Smith will make his league debut against the Demons. The 21-year-old has averaged 22 disposals, five marks and six tackles over his past four reserves matches and has thoroughly deserved his opportunity.
East Fremantle Football Operation Manager, Brad Dodd said: “Cody has built a strong body of work over the season and thoroughly deserves his opportunity. He has continued to improve and can play a variety of positions”.
