East Fremantle Colts took on Peel Thunder on Good Friday at Lane Group Stadium.
Nine players pulled on a Colts jumper for the first time with the Sharks up for the fight early registering six scoring shots to two in the opening term.
The second quarter saw the Sharks unable to stop Peel’s ball movement while defensive half turnovers were punished as the home side took a 21 point margin into the main break.
Third quarter goals to Jed Hagan, Sam Otto and Jack Eastaugh reduced the deficit to 9 points however the Sharks couldn’t get over the line held goalless from 11 entries in the fourth quarter
