Round 11 WAFLW Preview
TOP spot in the WAFLW competition goes on the line on Saturday in Northampton when East Fremantle takes on Claremont as one of three fascinating Round 3 match ups this weekend.
Things are heating up in the 2022 WAFLW competition as finals begin to approach and that only makes the stakes higher when East Fremantle takes on Claremont in Northampton on Saturday.
The Sharks remain the only undefeated team this season having won all eight of their matches to do date but the Tigers are hot on their heels having only won once.
Claremont also has a significantly higher percentage so a win for them in Northampton on Saturday would see them knock East Fremantle from top spot at the end of Round 11.
Also on Saturday, Subiaco will take on South Fremantle at Leederville Oval with a win for both teams to keep them still a chance of taking part in finals action in 2022.
The last game of Round 11 takes place on Sunday afternoon at Joondalup's Pentanet Stadium between West Perth and Swan Districts.
The Falcons are still hunting their first ever WAFLW victory while Swans need a bounce back win to maintain their hold on a position in the top four.
WAFLW TEAM OF THE WEEK – ROUND 10
Meanwhile the two matches for Round 11 in the WAFLW Reserves competition, Subiaco plays East Fremantle on Sunday at Leederville Oval and Peel Thunder takes on Claremont at Mandurah's Lane Group Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
There are four matches in Round 11 of the Youth Girls Rogers Cup this weekend and all of them take place on Sunday starting at 10am with East Fremantle hosting Claremont at New Choice Homes Park.
Then at 10.30am, West Perth plays Swan Districts at Joondalup's Pentanet Stadium, and at midday, Subiaco faces South Fremantle at Leederville Oval, and East Perth tackles Peel Thunder at Imperials Football Club in Manjimup.
