East Fremantle Football Club has announced the resignation of Football Director Damien Condon from the board due to work and family commitments.

Condon, a three-time premiership player, has been an integral part of the board since his joining in 2018. Condon expressed his gratitude to the club and his fellow board members for their support during his time in the role.

"It is with a heavy heart that I tender my resignation as Football Director of the East Fremantle Football Club. My work and family commitments have made it impossible for me to continue in this role, but I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to serve the club I love. I would like to thank my fellow board members, the coaching staff, and the players for their support and dedication during my tenure," said Condon.

EFFC President Mark Stewart has praised Condon for his contributions and leadership and thanked him for his service to the club.

"Damien has been a great asset on the board, and his leadership has been invaluable to the club. We understand his decision to step down due to his work and family commitments, and we thank him for his dedication and hard work during his time on the board. He will always be a valued member of the EFFC family," Mr Stewart said.

The club has appointed Director of Talent Pathways Adam Drake-Brockman as the new Football Director.

“Adam is an experienced and highly respected member of the club, and the board has full confidence in him to continue to support the great work of the football department in recent years,” Mr Stewart said.

The EFFC board and members wish to express their sincere gratitude to Damien Condon for his service to the club and welcome Adam Drake-Brockman to his new role as Football Director.

The search for a new director is underway and the club expects to make announcement soon.
