The East Fremantle Football Club is excited to announce the signing of youngster, Michael Tassone for the next 2 seasons.

Michael joins the club after playing 17 League games for Peel Thunder over the past 2 seasons.

The talented utility makes his way to the Sharks after a player swap between the two clubs was agreed.

The move was a bit of a whirlpool moment for Tassone, but he’s looking forward to joining the squad and getting to work.

“It all happened really quickly but it suits my personal situation, having moved to Perth to attend University, so I’m grateful for both clubs for brokering the swap,” Tassone said.

“I’m keen to get into it, meet the group and play my part in seeing East Fremantle rise up the ladder.”

Football Operations Manager, Brad Dodd, believes Tassone will be a valuable addition to the squad.

“Michael is a player with a high work rate, strong mark and has the flexibility to play multiple roles for the Senior side over the next few seasons,” Dodd said.

“He is an excellent addition to our team and is really looking forward to building on his promising start to his career.”

While Michael Tassone makes his way to East Fremantle, Ben Harding has joined Peel.

“East Fremantle would like to thank and wish Ben Harding all the best with his move to the Thunder,” Dodd said.

“Ben is a popular member of our playing group, but he felt the timing was right for a change.”

Ben was the 2017 Prendergast Medallist for the Best and Fairest player in the Reserves competition and played 11 League games over the past 2 seasons.
