WA Day Derby | Preview
After consecutive wins, the Sharks tackle South Fremantle in the WA Day Derby at New Choice Homes Park.
While The Bulldogs have prevailed in recent encounters, the Sharks will be buoyed by their recent form and are desperate to turn the tables on their arch rival.
The coaching group have kept the squad much the same as last week with Alex Bray, Jack Perham, Matthew Burton and Max Murphy coming into the extended side.
Bray made a solid return in the Reserves last week after missing some games through injury. Recruited from Peel, Bray has been a solid addition to the Senior team this season.
If selected, Murphy will make his league debut for the Sharks. The promising Geraldton youngster is a member of the WA State 18s Squad but injury has sidelined Max for the early part of the season. Jack Perham and Matthew Burton have been around the mark all season and were better performers in the Reserves last weekend.
The Reserves will look to replicate their fantastic round 4 effort, which saw them defeat the Bulldogs by 70-points.
The Colts who came achingly close to the Demons in Geraldton, will look to register an important win after consecutive losses.
