South Fremantle vs East Fremantle, Celebrating Women's Football round. Saturday 2nd March, EFFC kicked of their 2024 season with two wins, an impressive win in the Roger's Cup: SFFC 1.2 (8) to EFFC 9.6 (60)
EFFC best: Carys Gourlay, Abby Green, Cartia Zumpano, Maddison Evans and Charlotte McGregor.
Roger's saw 7 players debut for the blue and white: Kai Clucas, Olivia Templeton, Nevaeh Hill, Sienna Lilly, Olivia Keady, Ainslie Keady and Jada Tames.
Round 2: Sunday 10th March Subiaco vs EFFC, Sullivan Logistics Stadium 10:05am
Set to be a very good game, Subiaco 8.8 (56) also taking 4 points last week when defeating East Perth 4.3 (27).
One debutant for EFFC in Zoe Edmonds.

South Fremantle vs East Fremantle in the Celebrating Women's Football Derby, playing for the inaugural cup and medal, co named after two extremely influential women figures of each club, Vecchio-Smith Medal. Named after SFFC captain Lauren Vecchio and football pioneer and EFFC/EFWFC stalwart Lynette Smith, won by SFFC Poppy Stockwell.
A nail-biting game and fantastic way to kick off the 2024 season. Sharks proving too strong in final stages to take home the 4 points 4.4 (28) defeating SFFC 3.7 (25).
Best players on the day went to Nadya Browne, Zipporah Fish, Sarah Wielstra, Maddy Obal and Ashleigh Gomes.
