Sharks to debut 16th player this year
Jack Cripps will make his debut for the Sharks in tomorrow's match against Claremont.
Jack hails from the Midwest town of Northampton and was a boarder at Guildford Grammar. He started at the Sharks via the Talent Academy Pathway, where he used to catch a train from school to EFFC to train during the Academy program.
Jack first played Colts in 2013 as a 17yo. In 2014 he started in the Colts, then found himself representing WA in the National 18’s championships, then upon return played the last 5 games of the season in Development League.
Unfortunately Jack has sustained a number of injuries through pre-season and the regular season and as late as June was playing for Northam just so that we could get him playing. Jack returned to the Development League side in round 16 and has averaged 19 possession and 5 marks per game as a key defender..
We wish Jack and his family all the best.
