The Sharks are thrilled to welcome twenty-year-old, Nathan Fahey to the Club.

Originally from Halls Head Junior Football Club, Fahey made his way through Peel’s development program, clocking six league appearances in the WAFL for the Peel Thunder, despite the side being laden with AFL talent.  

Fahey, primarily a strong marking forward with the ability to play at either end, said he is excited to play with the Sharks in 2017.

The WA Football Raffle has been given an extension and now closes on January 28th^th and all books must be returned to the Club whether sold or unsold.

Julian Locantro, recruited to the Sharks at the start of the 2015 season, has unfortunately been given the news that he can longer play the game he loves so much.  Locantro made the call to Football Manager, Darryn Fry, stating that upon his latest check-up, medical advice was that in the best interests of his longer-term health that he should call it a day.

The East Fremantle Football Club is excited to announce that the 2016 Prendergast Medallist (best player in the WAFL Reserves), Thomas Omodei, will be joining the Sharks for season 2017.

Omodei, originally from East Perth, enjoyed an outstanding year in the WAFL Reserves competition, averaging 28 possessions per game, nine times passing 30 or more.  Omodei’s 524 disposals ranked him 1^st in the competition.  He also finished the 2016 season ranked 4^th for total marks, Read More [+]

The East Fremantle Football Club was saddened to hear of the passing of former player Alan Preen on Sunday, November 27th. 

We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the Preen family at this sad time.

Funeral details are in The West Australian newspaper – Thursday, December 1st and are as follows:
The funeral will take place at the Crematorium Chapel, Belcher Street, Bunbury at 1:00pm next Friday afternoon (9th December).

East Fremantle Football Club legend and WA Football Hall of Fame inductee Alan Preen passed away aged 81 on Sunday, November 27.

Preen will be long remembered for his elite skills which saw him represent Western Australia on 15 occasions, finish runner-up in the 1958 Sandover Medal and twice win East Fremantle's fairest and best award.

He was named in the Sharks' Team of the Century in 1997 and inducted in the WA Football Hall of Fame in 2009.
