Bob HICKS
Bob Hicks played with courage and determination throughout a career dogged with injury. He was a reliable half back who time and time again repelled the opposition and sent the ball well into the scoring zone with long accurate kicking.
Bob played a considerable part in the coaching of our Junior Clubs with a good deal of success and was always a strong believer in imparting his knowledge to those who were to follow. As players’ representative on the Club’s Committee for many years Bob proved himself to be a very capable negotiator and administrator. He continued his involvement with football as a radio commentator often on air with John K. Watts.
